It's Hard Work, But Totally Worth the Effort
In earlier times, hunting and fishing were an essential element of survival.
Providing for a diet of healthy and wholesome wild fish & game is a trait that has traditionally been passed down through the family from fathers to sons (or daughters).
Unfortunately, the desire to teach and/or learn this practice has taken a back seat to the technologies of today’s society.
So earning the title of Hunter Gatherer doesn’t just happen all by itself these days.
It takes specific skills, training, motivation, and the right tools, as well as a whole lot of effort!
And those who put in all that effort can reap the rewards of being considered a true “Hunter Gatherer”.
Just knowing that you could provide sustenance in times of need, should be reward enough, but there are other lesser known aspects to consider.
Such as the thrill and excitement of hooking and landing a 20# King Salmon, or hauling in a pot full of Dungeness Crab.
Believe me when I tell you that you will have friends coming out of the woodwork every time you pull in with a load of delicious, wholesome and healthy bounty that you were able to harvest yourself!
